Let's Take a Chance

January 21, 2016

I love working with young, brilliant educators and find myself gravitating toward them as I savor their energy and find their refreshing attitudes contagious. So it came as no surprise when I recently jumped at the opportunity to spend some time with Sarah and Nick Bond, two young and amazingly talented teachers from School District 51 in the Boundary, BC. Organizing Our Resources

Whether I am on the phone, in a meeting, at a conference, or even having casual conversation, when I hear something I want to remember, I take notes. My problem is that my notes are scattered everywhere, because I take them on whatever paper is closest at hand. December 24, 2015

We spend a lot of time in airports waiting for flights. Like many of you, we enjoy passing time by people watching. We were doing just that in an airport recently when our eyes landed on a most interesting person. He was a jolly looking man, walking our direction, dressed all in red (including red tennis shoes). He had a beautiful white beard (I would swear it was curled with a curling iron it seemed so perfect), little glasses perched on the end of his nose, a twinkle in his eye, and a red backpack with the name "Santa" embroidered on the front.
