I am excited to be a part of a district wide K-5th grade implementation of Daily 5 and Cafe. I am in the process of setting up my room and will have close to 30 students. I LOVE the idea of alternative seating and have viewed articles and videos on the CAFE website.I am clear in my rationale for doing this and firmly believe it’s good for kids. But… I am looking for a great letter or article that explains the rationale to parents who show up for Back to School night and only see a few actual student desks. Any ideas or resources?
