Can anyone share a sequence of reading skills they teach in Kindergarten? Our district has a generic curriculum and no reading series. Looking for a pacing guide/sequencing of skills chart. Any help appreciated!
I don’t know if this will help you or not, but here’s a link to the CAFE Emergent menu with connections to Common Core reading statements. If you see the order isted there, that might lead you in the right direction. http://www.thedailycafe.com/sites/default/files/legacy_files/CAFE_Kindergarten_Menu+pdf.pdf
If you use the search feature on the main page and type in kindergarten, you’ll find links to many great articles on Kindergarten.
