Could someone give me an overview of all the notebooks and journals students are using as part of the CAFE system in one subject e.g. English?

During Daily 5 time in early elementary grades, the only notebook needed would be for Work on Writing. Some teachers use this notebook for Word Collectors and perhaps readers’ response entries.
If you are teaching a grade where students move between teachers and subjects, you may want to have a notebook for each subject–that really is up to you.
