I am a new member to this site and am loving everything about it. I used bits and pieces of CAFE a couple of years ago until our district created very strict guidelines with how our reading block needed to look. We have been given some of our freedom back this year, therefore I am working on implementing the CAFE into my reading block again. I noticed that "Retell the story" is no longer listed under the "Comprehension" header. Can someone help me understand the rationale? What did I miss or what am I missing?
