After a one-year experiment in Daily 5, getting the six K-2 teachers in my Lilburn, GA school an online subscription, a copy of Daily 5 and Cafe books, and a 2-hour Teacher Learning Community time block with a structure for getting started and visiting each other to start the Daily 5 in their classroom, I took the other day to stop and have them reflect on this experience. They love this approach, but despite the videos and great website ideas, their greatest wish is to visit a school in which at least a couple of teachers implement the Daily 5 well. Can some or all of our 6 teachers visit your classroom, to see what it looks like, sounds like, and feels like?
