What are the thoughts and opinions on using Google Drive as a substitution for an actual notebook during Work on Writing?
The is a 5th grade classroom.
Just my opinion . . but maybe you could do google drive once/twice a week. This is, of course, a different type of writing, with spelling and grammatical suggestions. Certainly important to know about, but we also want kids to know about paper/pencil writing to get ideas down. Not sure about your state, but our state test requires kids to write on paper–so we want them to know the benefits of both.
