One of our second grade teachers shared that her students are choosing the same book continually during read to self. Any suggestions how we can continue choice but regulate book choices?

We welcome suggestions.

The students should be changing books in their boxes periodically, and yes choice is important.  BUT the teacher could say, "Let's leave that /those book(s) for others to get a chance to read it--it's such a good story." If another student chooses it, great.  If not, the teacher could perhaps take the books "out of service" for a while ).
