What do people assign for homework? I do not want to assign busy work to say they are having HW??
I have my kiddies read each night and do a writing response based on the strategy learned.
Our school district has had this conversation over many years :). We finally decided on 10 min per grade level. So, 1st, 10 min; 2nd, 20 min, etc. Reading for at least 10 min is outside of the guidelines. SRea
