Is there a way for me to store and retrieve custom goals? For example, in math I would like to make my own menu with goals like Fact Fluency, Place Value, and then my own strategies such as add-on, or doubles. For writing, I would like goals for drafting, revising, and editing, and then I could list strategies below that. I would like to make a drop down menu ,so that I do not have to type the goal or strategy each time. (I love using the CAFE menu! My students are very impressed when we choose a strategy together.) If this is not available, yet -- I could just make one for myself and copy/paste, but I thought I would ask. :-) Thank you.
I know exactly what you mean! There isn't a way to actually store and retrieve, per se. However, I use Chrome as my browser, and if I have typed in a strategy/goal before, as soon as I type the first couple of letters, a drop-down of things I've ever typed in that spot pop up for me to choose. Try that, and see if it will help. For my writing, I do have a paper menu that a colleague and I created for us, and so I keep that menu handy as I add to my CCP. Let us know what you come up with--always up for new ideas!!
Thank you Suzanne. I just discovered that! I started to type in a strategy I typed before and, just like you wrote, I typed two letters and it popped right up. This program is amazing! Thanks. Bev
YAY!! I know what you mean--couldn't live without my CCP now :).
