This year, Teacher Appreciation Week has taken on a whole new meaning. We have heard from parents, students, colleagues, and even celebrities, who under current circumstances, have a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and depth of our profession. This week our team took time to reflect and share memories of our past teachers, and in doing so we all came to realize just how right Maya Angelou was when she said, “They may forget what you said - but they will never forget how you made them feel." Each memory we shared was tied to what we felt when we were with the teacher – encouraged, supported, happy, special, believed in, cared for, and loved.

As teachers, we make a difference in the lives of many. Our influence is felt long after our students leave the walls of our classroom. We hope this week you took time for yourself and felt appreciated in your work with students. From our hearts to yours, we thank you for your work. ❤️
