Amanda Williams has added a protocol that helps her partners get started calmly and efficiently. I was so inspired when I saw it that I asked two of her students to do it again so I could record it and share it with you.
This happened to be during Math with Someone. After asking someone to be his or her partner, one student says, “I’ll get the materials.” The other says, “I’ll find the spot.” And off they go. Quick. Smooth. Efficient. I loved it, and I thought you would, too.
