Looping–Insights on Daily 5 in the Second Year With a Class

Have you ever looped with you class or taken a whole class up to the next grade level? We have had the good fortune of looping with many classes as well as teaching multi-age classes. Some schools are using looping as a way to address RTI. Since teachers and students already know their strengths and areas of need, looping classrooms share that they are able to get up and going so much faster with their students. The routines are reviewed, not built from scratch. If you have ever thought about looping, it is a wonderful opportunity to take kids further and faster than beginning anew.
