How I Became a Pirate is a story about a boy named Jeremy Jacob and his adventures as he becomes a pirate for a day. He loves being a pirate until something happens that makes him change his mind. This text can be used with nearly any strategy on the CAFE Menu. The strategies chosen here are a sample and should serve as a springboard for further instruction. Possible Strategy Instruction:
