Great conversation tonight! Use this space to continue.
Thank you for last night! I enjoyed listening to everyone talk about what is happening in their schools. We are at the tail end of the online piece as the student last day is May 7th. I was very thankful when the state (Indiana) decided not to have us administer any of the mandated tests. This way we could focus on the SEL piece a bit more. Our K-2 teachers have begun using choice boards which have really been great. The 3-6 have their IPads at home so much of their work is online. As the Instructional Coach /IB COordinator for ur building I am looking forward to having the rest of May for us to do professional Development and reflection. Last night wa so refrshing. Thank you for checking up on us Gail and Carole!
Hi! I agree. It was a great discussion and I appreciate the check in. I'm a kindergarten teacher now, previously I taught 1st for 10 years and have found simple choice boards to be helpful. I would love to see what some people's choice boards look like.
Thanks for the great discussion. I was wondering if one of the moderators could post the fantastic distance learning resources that people mentioned in the chat. Is it possible to look at the transcript for that? I remember there were a few great online book resources mentioned, but I didn't write down all of them.
Thanks and kind regards,
