After attending a Daily 5 and CAFE workshop this summer, Stephanie Tjaden decided she wanted a table with a whiteboard top for her students. She purchased a large piece of Thrifty White Panel Board from Home Depot for $14.45. A Home Depot employee graciously cut it to size while she waited.

Stephanie's husband rounded the corners with a scroll saw and used a sponge sander to smooth the edges. Stephanie brought the ready board into her classroom and cut some velcro strips to keep it from sliding.

Now her beautiful whiteboard table is ready for Word Work, math, and more.
