The gathering space is an important part of our classrooms no matter what age we teach. Gail and Janet give us a tour of how Janet makes this space inviting, engaging, and functional, whether she is teaching the whole group or small groups. Because it is so important, the gathering space is one of the first spaces we define when creating a classroom that is functional and student friendly.
