Earth Day Printables

Share

Looking for quick and meaningful ways to incorporate Earth Day into your plans? We've got you covered! Below you'll find a couple of simple, student-friendly printables to help celebrate and reflect on our role in taking care of the planet.

1. "My Promise to Earth" Writing Prompts

Encourage students to think about how they can personally help protect the Earth with this thoughtful writing prompt:
“My promise to Earth is…”

There are four versions of this printable to meet a variety of student needs—ranging from wider line spacing for beginning writers to more compact lines for older students. These prompts are perfect for a writing center, a whole-group lesson, or even a hallway display to showcase student commitment to the planet.

2. Earth Day Count & Graph

This fun, hands-on math activity combines Earth Day vocabulary with early graphing skills. Students will search for Earth-friendly images on the page, count how many they find, and graph the results in the spaces provided (up to 8 items).
Want to take it a step further? Project Earth Day-themed images on a screen or whiteboard and let students create their own count & graph charts on blank graph paper. This is a great way to differentiate the activity for larger numbers and vocabulary specific images.

All printables are free to download and easy to use—just print and go!
Whether you're squeezing in a quick activity or building an entire Earth Day-themed lesson, these resources are designed to be flexible and fun.

Happy Earth Day!
