It is amazing how our thoughts influence our attitude and the way we deal with life. 

Consider these words: difficult, angry, and mean.

What do you think about when you say these words? It is hard to find a happy story in these negative words. Just like life, if we continue to be exposed to these negative words, our life becomes negative.

Now consider these words. comfortpeacetenderness, and compassion.

How do you feel when you say these words to yourself? Do they inspire calm and peace in your thoughts? Are these the words that give you hope in your world?

We all have negative thoughts at times, but it's important not to focus on negative thoughts and words. Do not allow them to become implanted in your brain. By focusing on positive words and surrounding ourselves with positive thoughts we begin to radiate positive energy. We need more positive energy to make positive changes in our world.

Here's a task for you. Choose a new positive thought and repeat it to yourself several times each day. See how soon that thought becomes routine to you and a part of your positive self-image.

Change your thoughts and you will affect your world.
