Alisa Chavez, a  teacher from Panther Lake Elementary in Washington State has a question regarding her very diverse class of fifth graders (high mobility and 11 different languages are represented). When she is working with a small group or individual students, some of the others, being so new to the country or new to their class, seem to struggle with accountability. In this Sisters on the Spot, we give Alisa some strategies to address this accountability.
