No longer just a design element, we now have access to data that is shifting the way we think about plants at home and at school. We have used of silk plants for years, but we are adding some live ones this year, and here is why.

The research of Dr. Roger S. Ulrich of Texas A&M University (College Station, Texas), Helen Russell, University of Surrey (West Sussex, England) as well as Dr. Virginia Lohr of Washington State University (Pullman, Washington) found that plants enhance productivity while significantly lowering workplace stress and increasing creativity.

Dr. Jerry Williams, a horticulture professor at Virginia Polytechnical Institute, specializes in house plant studies. He says what type of plant doesn't matter as much as the fact that you have a plant.

The benefits are to many to ignore. We have attached a few articles if you would like to read for yourself what the researchers are saying about plants in the work place.
