Joy or Annoy

When the Joy in your job is over shadowed by the annoy, it's time for change.

How much Joy does your job bring you? I'm sure we all know people who are enthusiastic, energetic and love their job. They start their career full of positive energy and excitement, and gain personal joy from the work they do and the people they encounter.

But how many people do you know that over time, lose some of their positive energy and excitement and become annoyed with the once exciting daily tasks and encounters.

What happens when the joy in your job is overshadowed by the annoy you feel? How do you help a co-worker when you can witness this annoyance taking over? Where are you on the joy vs. annoy scale?

JOY -------------------------------Annoy

Joy----------Annoy

joy .....ANNOY

Do you still start each day with a smile and anticipation of the great day ahead? Do you maintain that joy throughout the day, or do the little annoyances start to build and make you grumpy and upset before the day is over? Can you quickly re-focus yourself and push the annoy away so the joy comes back?

If you are stuck in the annoy phase, perhaps it's time to change your focus and look for another avenue to re-start the joy factors. Sometimes we get stuck in our current careers and it's easier to stay annoyed than it is to look for something else that we find joy in.

Do you still find joy in your work and your career? If not, it's up to you to re-focus, to look for another career that will put the joy back into your life.

Choose Joy.
