Dreaming Is a Form of Planning

Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
— Gloria Steinem

To all you planners out there, I admire your special ability to focus on the details of individual projects and large events.

Planners are an important part of our lives. They are able to dissect tasks into their fine intricacies and pieces. They see details that the rest of us overlook, and when the details are put together, they make a well-thought-out product.

Most of the planners I know are very organized and meticulous. I'd like to thank them for helping bring structure, order, and balance to my life.

Planning can also look different for different people.  Do you dream at night, or perhaps during the day as well? I am a great dreamer as I relax and let my mind float.  During these times my mind is calmly planning and organizing and visualizing my life. I may not plan on paper, but my mind plans every day, during rest.

The creativity in your planning is often reflected in your daydreaming as well. Keep up those daydreams.

After all, dreaming is a form of planning!
