COVID-19—The Importance of Staying Home

Another week of staying home and maintaining social distancing.
Another week of educating our children in so many non-traditional ways.
Another week of balancing home, and family, and students, and the stress of this new life.

Thank you for your continued compassion for others. By staying home and altering your schedules, you are protecting the most fragile in our population and preventing the spread of this virus.

As hard and difficult as our lives are right now, the most important thing we can do is stay home.

If we must go out for essential needs, like groceries, pharmacy, or urgent medical care, wear a cloth face covering as one added level of protection. Remember that we still need to practice social distancing and wash your hands.

With the stresses of the Coronavirus and the disruption in our daily routines, it’s more important than ever to take care of yourself mentally as well as physically. Practice self care. Build in a long walk or exercise with the family. Eat a healthy diet and don’t forget to take those deep breaths.

We will get through this if we look after ourselves as well as others.

We’re all in this together.

Stay home and stay healthy.
