Having too many colors and patterns in our rooms can create visual noise that might be especially distracting to some of our learners.  In this video, Gail and Joan take a peek into Pam's fifth/sixth-grade classroom.  Pam has moved away from themed borders to all black.  She has also used fabric instead of paper for the backgrounds.  What we notice when we enter her room is the beautiful academic work, artwork, and thinking that is on display.
