Whirlwinds

What do you think of when you see a whirlwind? I see a spinning, lifting, moving force that pickes up and scatters things in its path.

Instead of a calm breeze, life can be like a whirlwind. Other people or things wind you up and get you spinning. The spinning starts small at the bottom and grows as it takes on negative thoughts while it blows things out of proportion.

Do you ever have occasions or days when your mind is spinning out of control, flitting here and there, scattering random thoughts, and lacking focus? What do you do?

Don't let people or events get you spinning. Take a calm, deep breath, and ground yourself in reality. Don't let your imaginings about events and situations cause you to spin out of control. Avoid picking up other people?s debris and scattering it in your life.

Whirlwinds can carry a mighty force, whether outside or in our minds. Don't get caught up in the force of the spinning. Hold on tight while you ground yourself with positive thoughts and a few deep breaths to prevent the whirlwind.
