In Daniel's kindergarten classroom, Janet and Daniel have been using The 10 Steps to Teaching and Learning Independence to launch Word Work. For three days in a row, they have added to the I-Chart as they've reflected and refined what independence looks like, sounds like, and feels like during Word Work. This video shows the process of taking the messy, whole-group chart and transferring it to a smaller page.
