Regardless of what grade level we teach, we always have a wide range of ability levels in our classrooms. In this first video, Gail and Rachel discuss how they might proceed with an advanced reader whom Rachel had last year. Looping up with a class often makes early goal setting easier.
In this second video, we get to see Gail and Rachel confer with Sydney. Rachel guides Sydney to take the lead in the conference and is really seeing the positive and exciting results of having a student with prior CAFE experience.
Lastly, we get to listen in as Rachel and Gail debrief the conference they had with Sydney. They discuss ways to help her expand her vocabulary, which is her CAFE goal.
