Julian is a 4th grade student in Heather's classroom. He has been assessed with an IRI and now his teacher, Heather, and Gail are having their first conference with him. The focus of this conference is to support Julian as he sets his first goal. You'll notice that Julian already knows a lot about himself as a reader.
