In this video, Joan and Carrie introduce two different aspects of Word Work: which words to practice and what materials they can use. Chart paper makes this information easily retrievable so students can refer to it again rather than ask the teacher. We are always looking for ways to build independence in our students. Posting learning, expectations, and routines are one simple way to do this.
