There are many steps involved in successfully reading with a partner. Identifying the steps, teaching and then practicing them, will help ensure that students get the most out of their time reading with someone.

In this video, we join Carlene Bickford as she meets with a small group to reinforce and teach a new way to find a partner. To help students get started right away, we also set procedures for identifying which partner will read first, who will grab the check for understanding checkmark, and how they will decide where to sit.

If you are looking for a few new ideas to enhance your partner reading, this may be just the video for you.
