We love the fresh start of a new school year. While launching Daily 5 and CAFE are a priority, we are also deeply interested in building a sense of community in those early weeks.
One of the first art projects we do with our students, whether we teach Kindergarten or 6th grade, is create self portraits. We are especially thankful for the art teachers out there who blog and share their talents and ideas. It is a gift to learn from them.
