Do you feel like you could do individual goal setting better if you could see a conference in action first? Heather will let us peek in as she works with Sierra, who is new to the school. Heather introduces Sierra to the CAFE Menu and after agreeing on a goal and strategy, Sierra makes the decision obvious by posting it on the CAFE menu.
This quick conference follows the conferring protocol by asking Sierra to read, discussing what was read and deciding on a goal and strategy, modeling and practicing of the strategy, reviewing what was learned and then off to practice.
When Heather and Gail debrief, we get to listen in to what Heather was thinking as she led the conference.
