New for the week of December 19 - 25, 2008, Articles Below Annual Winter Vacation Dear Colleagues and Friends, It's hard to believe this is the last issue of 2008. We really didn't know what to expect when we launched our site this summer. It was our passion to create a place where teachers could come and learn what they wanted to, when they wanted to, and the growing membership is suggesting that we are on our way. Thank you for the support, enthusiasm, and wonderful suggestions you've provided as we've undertaken this journey. Though we'll be taking our annual winter vacation over the next two weeks, we'll be working behind the scenes to get ready for our first January issue, as well as do some reconfiguring of the site in response to your feedback. We hope you'll take advantage of your break time to relax, rejuvenate, love and laugh with friends and family. 2009 is going to be a great year of sharing and learning together!
Warmly, Gail and Joan

We suggest you write "Review Daily 5 'I' Charts" in your literacy block. We have found the first few days after a long break can be like starting over. Stamina is shorter, behaviors are a little bumpy . . . more . . .
