Fluency I can read smoothly with few errors and understand what I read!
"To be considered a fluent reader, the person should be able to decode and comprehend at the same time. Fluency is actually the ability to do at least two things at once." Samuels (2006, 2007) When we started teaching, fluency was the current buzzword, was solely about rate, and was pretty much all we paid attention to. As we've become familiar with current research, it's become clear that fluency is about much more than speed. If your students need to work on true fluency, you will find many ways to help them improve through these videos and downloads.
