Since 2005, Rick Riordan has captivated Fantasy/Adventure lovers with his Percy Jackson series. The stories, based on on Greek Mythology, take readers on quests and adventures with twelve-year-old Percy who finds out early on that he is a demigod. His mother is a mortal, but his father is the Greek god Poseidon. The first book was made into a motion picture and is currently playing in theaters throughout the U.S. Rick Riordan has been working on a new series entitled The Kane Chronicles.
