Ten Studies Worth Knowing - (Website)

Printer-Friendly Format

Whenever we are interviewing for a job and are asked about our strengths and weaknesses we always respond...our goal is to keep up with professional reading but we never seem to get to all the studies and reading that we want.

It helps to turn to other sources and people who can help us narrow, cull and finally synthesize the insurmountable reading that is out there.

We particularly liked these Ten Psychology Studies that David Disalvo reports on. We are drawn to the sixth article:

6. If you're preparing for a specific challenge, make sure you prep for that challenge and not just ones like it.

This does remind us of Daily Five where we are truly practicing reading, not reading activities.

See what you think.
