FAQ - We have a district-mandated reading program. How do I provide time for students to practice their guided reading book?
If you work with students in groups based on levels, you will introduce the guided reading book, support students through the text, and allow them to reread these texts throughout the week after placing them in their book boxes. When students exchange the books in their book boxes, they return the guided reading book to you or keep it to continue practicing skills and strategies.
