FAQ: Where can I find materials I see on your DVDs or in your books?

Printer-Friendly Format

Q: Where can I find the chimes I see you using in your classroom?

A: We receive many inquiries about the chimes you see in the photos of our classrooms. Below you will find a link to the set of Stannard desk chimes we have in our room. Unfortunately, we bought ours nearly 20 years ago (they do last a long time!) but we paid $24.00. You will see that the price has gone up considerably!

We love the JW Stannard brand, as they are tuned just perfectly without that 'tinny' sound and last seemingly forever. In addition to the table chimes, we also have two other Stannard chimes hanging strategically in locations where we tend to stand and want student attention.

Hanging wind chimes are much more affordable than the table chimes you see in our Daily 5™ book. The Stannard hanging chimes we use can be found at the second link below, as well as at many garden shops.

Q: Where can I purchase the Easels that are seen in your videos?

A: The chart rack in our photos and videos came from Office Max. We actually ordered it on-line, here is the link: http://www.officemax.com/omax/catalog/sku.jsp?skuId=20358587&searchString=easel&category_Id=null It has two round handles on either side that you can unscrew to allow height of the chart to be raised or lowered.

Q: Where did you find the sand timers you use for supporting your at-risk kids during Daily 5™?

A: Here is the website where we order our timers: http://www.rinovelty.com/.

Q: I love the long sticky notes you use on your CAFE™ Menu. Can you tell me where you get them?

A Here is the link to where we order our Post-It Word Strips.
