For sight word practice:

Post two or three of these forms on your door with sight words students need to master. As they enter or exit the classroom, they read the words and fist-bump the pictures. It is a fun way to provide added practice, and helps with the accuracy strategy Recognize High-Frequency Words on Sight.

For vocabulary practice:

Instead of sight words, record content vocabulary or rich words discovered during read-alouds. Students fist-bump and give the definition or use the word in a sentence.
