Our local radio station follows area high school sports and often broadcasts events live. During halftime of the basketball games they have a segment called “In Case You Missed It” where they recap the major events of the game. Listening to the report is a nice way to get caught up on what is going on and any important main plays we may have missed.

Wouldn’t it be great if life had an “In Case You Missed It” button where you could get a recap on things you missed? We have so much happening in our personal and professional lives that it is almost impossible to stay on top of everything, so having a personal “CliffsNotes” to keep us updated could be very helpful!

That is what this week’s Tip is all about. Last year we shared several articles with our current thinking and updates. Now, this first week of January, we want to recap with an “In Case You Missed It” edition.

Take some time to read about or revisit our updates such as three ways to engage with a text, the transition to Prepared Classroom, the focus on engagement versus stamina, and the move from being task driven to purpose driven. Then, stay tuned each Friday as we continue to share the latest learning and application of the evidence-based practices of Prepared Classroom.
