Are you having a hard time finding books that are written at a lower level, but of high interest. If you haven't heard us talk about Danny Books before, we adore them. They are published by MaryRuth Books and we use them to teach beginning readers of all ages.

Charlene, from Massachusetts, introduced us to the Bella and Rosie books. Like Danny, Bella and Rosie take children on photographic adventures. This fun series offers texts from level A all the way through chapter books. If you aren't into dogs (like we are), you might want to check out Gilbert the Pig, Jasper the Cat, or Georgie Giraffe.

Lastly, we can't forget the brilliant Mo Willems, whose Elephant and Piggie books are laugh out loud funny and inspire our emergent readers to reread them over and over again. Books by Mo Williams
